Can you cheat on a simulation?
When simulations are used in an assessment context does it actually decrease the possibility of cheating? I think so. One classic way to cheat is to memorize the answers. In the context of a simulation-based assessment which requires performance isn't that the same as learning? If a test-taker memorizes the way to perform a simulation they have in fact, "learned" to perform the task. This obviously does not eliminate the problem of coaching but it does limit some of the risk.
